About the Modding Helper
The Idea
The task of the Modding Helper is to make your life easier. It will avoid every unnecessary handiwork with LUA scripting or rather reduce it to a few clicks, so that you can concentrate on more important things like the zeroeditor. Besides, it can't happen that you make little mistakes, e.g. forget a bracket or miss a letter and such things can make your map crash.
Content
Version 0.5: Version 0.5 has momentarily only two features: Changing the playable heroes and adding CPs (in the lua scripts, of course you still have to add them in zeroeditor). With this you have the huge advantage of not causing inadvertend syntax errors and these errors can make your map crash - searching the bug can last hours.
That's not very helpful for advanced modders, but for beginners though, because they don't have to struggle with complicated luas. Only a few clicks - and the hero or the number of CPs are changed.
Version 0.6: To this version a new function had been added which changes the number of units and different unit types on the battlefield. In addition you can increase or reduce the reinforcements. Another feature will be a simplified map selection.
